Meet Tonal’s New Coaches, Pilates Programming, and More

Tonal members started the year strong with the Breakthrough challenge, but that’s just the beginning of what’s to come in 2026. Soon, there will be a deeper library of Pilates and yoga offerings with new coaches and movements, and a refreshed live workout schedule that balances intensity with recovery for sustainable results.

With an ever-growing library of programs and workouts, Tonal offers options for all goals, experience levels, and life stages.

Support Your Strength with Yoga and Pilates

Mobility and stability are the foundation of strength, and yoga and Pilates help you build both. Adding these modalities to your training helps prevent injury, improve range of motion, and support better performance across every workout.

You’ll now find even more on Tonal with upcoming yoga workouts from Coach Shelby Hicks, an expanded library of advanced Pilates movements and workouts with Coach Kristin McGee, and the addition of two new coaches: Katie Yip and Pilin Anice

On February 13, Coach Kristin is releasing Pilates Precision and Power, Tonal’s first-ever program that combines the precision and control of Pilates with the power of strength training. Experience how Pilates supports compound lifts by improving your mobility, alignment, and balance. These workouts allow you to feel in real-time how Pilates helps you access a greater range of motion and generate more force in your lifts.

This is also the first program to feature a new suite of Pilates movements, drawing from advanced exercises Pilates devotees know and love. In these workouts—plus more being released beginning in February—you can challenge yourself with movements such as Teaser, Coordination, and Rollover.

Meet Your New Coaches

Tonal Coach Katie Yip

Katie Yip, founder of Paradigm Studio in New York City, comes to Tonal after years of experience studying under some of Pilates’ most renowned teachers. Katie is known for her thoughtful, yet challenging classes, designed to transform how your body moves and feels. With a 700-hour comprehensive certification in the discipline, she’s skilled at coaching Pilates for all levels, including intermediate and advanced practitioners looking to level up their skills.  

On Tonal, her workouts will help you improve your lifting performance by building mobility and strengthening the mind-body connection. As a mom, Katie also understands the unique challenges of movement postpartum, and she’ll be sharing her experience in workouts geared toward rebuilding your core after baby.

Tonal Coach Pilin Anice

Pilin Anice brings more than two decades of yoga, dance, and wellness experience to Tonal. She’s passionate about creating inclusive, joyful spaces where everyone can move, heal, and thrive, with a focus on staying active as you age. She’s the founder of the Pilin Anice Lifestyle (PAL) wellness app and leads retreats at the Kripalu Center for Yoga. 

In her Tonal yoga classes, you can expect to reconnect with yourself through movement and mindfulness. Pilin will be joining the Recomp Roadmap live schedule, leading yoga sessions on Friday, and will be launching her own on-demand yoga workouts.

New Live Workout Schedule

Recomp Roadmap, Tonal’s Live programming, is getting a revamp with the addition of our first-ever live yoga workouts. Now, you can develop all-around fitness in four weekly workouts, each with its own focus, to shift your body composition through building lean muscle and burning fat. This new weekly rhythm delivers measurable progress while fitting into members’ busy schedules and lowering the risk of burnout. 

Choose the sessions targeting the areas you want to improve, or put them all together for a path to getting strong and lean. Here’s the breakdown of the new schedule starting Monday, February 2:
