How Tonal Relocations Work
We offer several relocation kits depending on your moving needs. You’ll also need to keep your wall mount and bring it to your new home so our installation team can reinstall Tonal efficiently.
Purchase Your Relocation Kit
Order the relocation kit that matches your move. We recommend purchasing at least three weeks before your move to allow time for scheduling.
Your Order Processes
We will process your order and send you a survey link. Your order will not be processed until the survey is completed.
Share Your Move Details
Provide Tonal with your current and new installation addresses, preferred move dates, and installation location details so we can coordinate your relocation.
Schedule Your Appointment(s)
For local or long-distance moves, reinstallation cannot be scheduled until your Tonal has been successfully removed from the original location
Move and Reinstall Your Tonal
Transport your Tonal and Wall Mount to the new location. Our installation team will arrive with the necessary hardware to securely reinstall your trainer. If you require a wide mount and did not originally have one, it must be purchased when placing your relocation order.
Relocation Kits
We have four kits available for purchase.
We DO NOT recommend installing Tonal yourself. Any damage caused by improper installation, relocation, or uninstallation is not covered by Tonal’s warranty.
Move Your Tonal to Another Room
Move your Tonal from its current spot in your home and have it installed on another wall in the same home.
Uninstall Your Tonal. We’ll Reinstall It.
Uninstall Tonal yourself, and we will coordinate with our installation team to reinstall it on a different wall.
Move Tonal to a New Address Nearby
Move Tonal to a new address less than 50 miles from your current one and within the same state.

Self-Installation Notice
If you install Tonal yourself, you must sign a Release of Liability waiver.
Damage caused by improper installation, relocation, or uninstallation is not covered under warranty.

International Moves
Tonal relocations and servicing are currently only supported within the United States.

Frequently Asked Questions
We don’t recommend reinstalling Tonal yourself. The system is heavy and requires proper handling and precise wall mounting. Improper installation or relocation may result in damage not covered under warranty.
- Same Home: Move Tonal to another wall in the same home. We complete the uninstall and reinstall in the same home
- Reinstall Only: You uninstall it yourself, and we reinstall it
- Local Move: Move to a new address within 50 miles. We uninstall it and reinstall it. Transportation of Tonal and mounts are not included.
- Long Distance Move: Move over 50 miles or across state lines. We uninstall and reinstall it. Transportation of Tonal and mounts are not included.
Same-day uninstall and reinstall is not available for local or long-distance moves outside of the same home, as different service teams might handle each step. Once your Tonal has been successfully uninstalled, you can then schedule your reinstallation appointment at the new location.
Ensure your new space meets Tonal installation requirements, including wall compatibility, space clearance, and power access. This helps avoid delays during reinstallation.
Tonal can be packed similarly to a large TV—keep the display facing up (flat on its back) and do not place items on top to prevent damage.If you self-installed and have the original box, use that; otherwise, wrap the trainer securely with bubble wrap and moving blankets. Check with your moving company for specific packing requirements or materials they may provide. Accessories can be packed with your other belongings. While we can make suggestions for how to pack your Tonal, remember that damage during moves is not covered under your warranty so please prioritize packaging it securely and consider getting it specifically insured by any movers.
No, transportation of your Tonal and wall mounts is not included. You are responsible for safely transporting your Tonal to the new location.
Yes — if your Tonal is relocated using approved methods and services. Damage caused by improper uninstall or installation not done by our professional service providers, or damage caused in a move are not covered under warranty, but otherwise your Tonal warranty continues to apply for the remainder of the original time period.
Tonal does not currently support international relocations. Taking Tonal out of the country will void your warranty, and you won’t be able to get your trainer serviced if there’s an issue.
Relocation timelines vary, but orders typically take up to 7 days to process before the service can be scheduled. For local or long-distance moves, reinstallation cannot be scheduled until your Tonal has been successfully removed from the original location.
Yes. Once properly installed in a compatible space, your Tonal will function the same as before.
Things to Remember
Order Your Relocation Kit Early
Purchase your relocation kit at least three weeks before your move so we can coordinate scheduling and services.
If you live in or are moving to Hawaii or Alaska, additional lead time may be required and your relocation kit will be shipped to your address.
Bring Your Wall Mount
You must bring your existing wall mount to your new home so our installation team can reinstall Tonal efficiently.
Check Your Stud Spacing
Tonal is designed to mount on 16-inch stud spacing.
If your new home has studs 17–24 inches apart, you’ll need to purchase a wide mount adapter, which can be added to any relocation kit.
